filter 메서드로 타입 거르기

filter 메서드를 통해서 null과 undefined를 걸렀음에도 결과 배열의 타입이 (string | null)[]로 나온다.

const array: (string | null)[] = ["foo", "bar", null, "zoo", null];
const filteredArray: string[] = array.filter(item => item) // ["foo", "bar", "zoo"]
// Type '(string | null)[]' is not assignable to type 'string[]' 

type predicates를 사용하도록 한다.

타입 단언과의 차이점은????

• 타입 assertion은 말 그대로 개발자가 타입스크립트 컴파일러에게 이 변수는 이 타입이라고 확신한다고 타입을 강제하는 것을 의미.
• 타입 predicates는 이와는 다르게 타입 narrowing의 방식 중 하나이다. 함수의 매개변수의 타입을 좁혀 주는 역할을 하기 때문에 타입 단언보다 더 안전한 방식.
